What's Happening
The University of Kansas Medical Center and The University of Kansas Health System are planning several major construction projects that will bring significant changes to the campus and surrounding area over the next several years.
The VNA is working directly with KUMC representatives to share information and help residents understand how construction and new developments may affect the neighborhood.
Projects Discussed:
Cambridge B Tower
New campus construction.
Theranostics Center
Research and treatment space.
Cancer Center
Patient care and research facility.
Campus Changes
Demolition and renovations.
Parking Garage
Approximately 2,300 spaces.
Traffic Impacts
Roadwork and possible closures.
VNA's Role

AUGUST - VNA NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING
KUMC representatives provided an overview of upcoming campus construction and discussed how the work could affect nearby roads, traffic patterns and the surrounding neighborhood.
