You can submit traffic complaints online and request traffic enforcement for speeding and other traffic nuisance issues. The KCPD has explained the "squeaky wheel gets the oil" when it comes to enforcement, so make sure to report your complaints and encourage neighbors to do the same. Volker’s trash/recycling day is Monday. Visit www.kcmo.gov/publicworks/trash/ for trash regulation, recycling information, drop-off sites, household hazardous waste, etc.

Use the Compass KC website to obtain building permits, inspections scheduling, plan reviews, contractor licensing, residential parking permits, etc.

Westport-Roanoke Community Center
Here in Volker we have a fitness center, gym, meeting room, pottery room, dog training, and more. Located at 3601 Roanoke Rd (just north of 39th Street).
Neighborhood and Housing Services
This department handles animal control, property code violations, dangerous buildings, liquor control, etc. Assistance is available for weatherization and free paint, with eligibility requirements. www.kcmo.gov/neighborhoods/
