Glass recycling now nearby at KU Med

Glass recycling just become more convenient for Volkerites!  Ripple Glass has added a bin right next door at KU Medical Center.  It is behind the Archie Dykes Medical Library, on the north side 39th Street just two blocks west of State Line Road.

The next-closest Ripple Glass bins are located at the Midtown Home Depot (Linwood and Main), Boulevard Brewery (25th and Southwest Boulevard), The Capital Grille on the Plaza (4740 Jefferson), and in the South Plaza at 51st and Main.

Ripple Glass is a new spin-off of Boulevard Brewery that recycles glass for free, and then sends it to a plant in KCK to be re-used as fiberglass insulation. Any color of glass is accepted and no sorting is necessary.
