Kansas City Historic Preservation Office”  is the archive for these photos taken in 1940 of every residential building. FYI, the photos will be leaving our office soon, the library is cataloging them and taking them. Parts of the collection will be unavailable at different times as they are sending them to St. Louis to have them scanned. Then they will be searchable online by block and available for order from them. I’d say by the end of the year the lady will be done with the cataloging and they will be gone (for scanning).
