Two bag limit waived on trash collection

01/11 7:01 am

Since the blizzard has caused many homes to miss trash and recycling pickup, the city is waiving the two bag trash limit through January 15th.  Volker residents can set out an unlimited number of trash bags without the red tags on Monday January 11th. This is a good opportunity to get rid of any extra trash that might have accumulated over the holidays.

Unlimited trash day

Ever year the City allows for a trash tag holiday on the first trash day after Christmas.  Residents can set out an unlimited number of trash bags without using the red trash tags.  This is a great way to get rid of extra trash that has been piling up, as well as holiday gift packaging.
