Metro Leadership Training 2010

Do concerns affecting life in midtown Kansas City keep you awake at night?  Convinced that your input on local public policy issues doesn't count?  The July VNA meeting will feature a listening session to get input from residents on these subjects.  Information from the session will help VNA and neighborhood partners like Immanuel Lutheran Church develop joint community projects to improve the experience of living in Volker.

You can have a positive impact on the discussion and future actions.  Learn how by signing up for the Metro Leadership Training presented by Communities Creating Opportunity (CCO) starting Thursday evening, June 17 and ending  Saturday afternoon, June 18.  The sessions are being held at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Westport Road between Genessee and Bell Streets.  This is a great program; there is a cost for the training but a limited number of scholarships are available  How to apply and details about training content are in the attached flyer.  Please share the information with your neighbors!
