At a recent VNA meeting, KCPD Officer Schriever asked Volkerites to take down old Neighborhood Watch signs. Signs that are rusted, faded, defaced, etc. do nothing to deter crime.  In fact, they send a signal to criminals that people aren't watching, and are letting a neighborhood deteriorate.  This actually invites crime into the neighborhood.

KCPD Master Patrol Office James Schriever passes on this information about when to call 9-1-1, which is basically anytime you see suspicious activity that could be a crime or a crime in planning.
