The Missouri Department of Transportation is currently seeking public input on the future of I-35 between the state line and the Downtown Loop. Since VNA is working with adjacent neighborhoods on ways to lessen the impact of Southwest Trafficway our quality of life, we are vigilent for any changes to I-35 that might divert more traffic onto Southwest Trafficway.

Glass recycling just become more convenient for Volkerites! Ripple Glass has added a bin right next door at KU Medical Center. It is behind the Archie Dykes Medical Library, on the north side 39th Street just two blocks west of State Line Road.
