Burglary suspect caught

The suspect mentioned last week is now in police custody after a vigilent resident of the Valentine neighborhood saw him attempting a break-in and called police.

KCPD is looking for a suspect in a few home burglaries in Volker and other Midtown neighborhoods.

South Volker Break-Ins on April 22nd

Yesterday (Thursday April 22nd) there were three residential burglaries in south Volker:

  • 41st Street and Genessee at 12:30 a.m.
  • 41st Place near Roanoke Road at 8:00 p.m.
  • 41st Street and State Line Road at 10:45 p.m.

If you saw anything out of the ordinary around those times, or anytime in the last 24 hours, please call the TIPS Hotline - 816-474-TIPS (474-8477).  As always, call 9-1-1 any time you see something suspicious in the neighborhood.
